Cashback for Hyvä Commerce

You can trade in your Hyvä Theme and Hyvä Checkout licenses if you buy a new Hyvä Commerce license for the same domain.

Trade-In a Hyvä Theme license

If you trade in a Hyvä Theme license, you will get a cashback of 1,000 € on purchasing a Hyvä Commerce license.

Trade-In a Hyvä Checkout license

If you trade in a Hyvä Checkout license, you will receive a cashback of 1,000 € on purchasing a Hyvä Commerce license.
You will receive an additional cashback of 250 € for each year of support you bought, if the period hasn't passed yet.

Limitations

The following limitations apply if you want to trade in existing licenses:

You must be logged in.
The license(s) to trade in must be bought by the same customer account as the new Hyvä Commerce license. You can transfer a license to another account - please contact us in this case.
The cashback amount is limited by the price of the Hyvä Commerce license. We will never pay you money, but you may get your Hyvä Commerce license for free for the first year if you trade in both a Hyvä Theme and a Hyvä Cashback license and have enough prepaid years of Hyvä Checkout support left.
You cannot trade in a Hyvä Enterprise license.
The cashback is only applicable to the initial purchase. You will have to pay the full amount of 3,000 € for renewals of your Hyvä Commerce license.
Cashbacks need to be applied before purchase and can’t be applied retroactively.

How to get your Cashback

The easiest way to receive your cashback is the Hyvä Licenses section in your customer account.

Go to the "Hyvä Licenses" page in your customer account.
Add the Hyvä Commerce license to the cart by clicking the "Upgrade to Hyvä Commerce" button at your license.
In the cart, you will see the prechecked "Trade in my existing Hyvä Theme license for <domain>" checkbox.
On the right, you will find the calculated Cashback amount.
Checkout as usual (we recommend using the "Automated Renewal" option we offer in the checkout)
After the payment was registered, you will receive an email with the license credentials. In most cases, your credentials won't change.

You can also renew licenses from the Hyvä Commerce product page. Make sure to login first and select the correct domain from the list. The cashback will be applied in your cart.

Frequently asked questions

What will happen with my traded in license(s)?

We will disable the licenses which you traded in when enabling the Hyvä Commerce licenses. Hyvä Theme and Hyvä Checkout are both included in the Hyvä Commerce license.

How long will the cashback offer be available?

There is no end date for the cashback offer. You will be able to get the cashback now or in a few years.

What happens if I choose to not trade-in my existing license(s)?

You can uncheck the checkbox in the cart if you want to not trade-in your license. This means:

You won't get a cashback for that license.
You will have double licenses for Hyvä Theme / Hyvä Cashback because these are already included in the Hyvä Commerce license. This won't give you any benefit.

Calculation example

Let's take this example case:

You are about to purchase a Hyvä Commerce license for the domain example.com.
You have a Hyvä Theme license for the domain example.com, bought 5 years ago.
You have a Hyvä Checkout license for the domain example.com, bought 3.5 years ago, including 5 years of support (still valid for 1.5 years)

The cashback amount will be calculated as follows:.

For the Hyvä Theme license, there is a 1,000 € cashback.
For the Hyvä Checkout license, there is a 1,000 € cashback.
For the remaining 1.5 years (rounded up to 2 years) of support, you will receive 2x250 €, that's 500 €.
The total cashback value is 2,500 €.

That means: If you purchase a Hyvä Commerce license for a base price of 3,000 €, you will just pay 500 € in the first year.
If you take our early bird offer for 2,500 € in the first year, you can upgrade for free instead.
