Today we are excited to announce our partnership with Mageworx. One of the most renown Magento extension providers on the market.
2022 is a year in which we are putting a lot of focus on partnerships with extension vendors from the Magento ecosystem. Compatibility with third party extensions is something we've held highly important at Hyvä Themes from the beginning. We started out making many extensions compatible ourselves, and together with our ever-growing community.
Now, at the start of 2022 we already have over 100 extensions compatible with Hyvä, freely available to all our licensees. That's a number we are very, very proud of. We could not have done that without the support of our community members and early adaptors like JaJuMa and RedChamps.
But it also required a lot of effort from our end. Creating, maintaining and coordinating the process of making modules compatible. We have great documentation available to aid with that. And right now, our Technical Director Vinai Kopp is working on a range of video's explaining the whole process of making modules compatible.
Late 2021 we started to actively reach out to extension vendors, holding workshops to get started and aiding them as good as possible to get started making extensions compatible by themselves.
The partnership with Mageworx is the first one to come to fruition, them being on the forefront of innovation and making a couple of their most popular extensions compatible.
The growing list of modules made compatible can be found on their dedicated Hyvä compatible modules page, and they are tracked in our module tracker, which is also publicly available.
We've written about our module tracker before, in this blogpost.
Mageworx has written about their compatibility with Hyvä on their blog recently too. You can read the article "Mageworx Adds Compatibility with Hyvä Magento 2 Themes" here.
Compatibility with third party modules is crucial for the ecosystem around Magento, and Hyvä Themes. We will continue to do our very best to grow the list of supported modules and add great extension vendors, such as Mageworx, to the list.
