10 things about MM23NL we look forward to
Yes, our favorite ecommerce event in our home country is back: Meet Magento Netherlands (MM23NL)! After being absent for a few years, we are super happy to be sponsoring but also to be heavily involved in the organization of this day packed with insights from leaders in the industry, first-hand experience from entrepreneurs and fun! Coincidentally (or not?) MM23NL coincides with Hyvä’s third birthday. Make sure to find your way to Amsterdam on November 2nd and meet us there, and celebrate with us!
To feed into the anticipation joy, here are 10 things we look forward to about this Meet Magento event:
1. The legendary Hyvä booth
This will always be on top of our list, as you know we bring the goodies: the latest Hyvä updates, our amazing team and the swag you can’t wait to get your hands on…this event’s will be a special birthday edition!
2. On stage: our founder Willem Wigman
“Why developers love Hyvä Theme, Checkout, UI, Enterprise, and…” Technical Track 2PM.
He’ll tell you all about our newest products and features, and how Hyvä helps merchants grow. Be sure to catch this one to be fully up-to-date on Hyvä developments! As always, Willem has some exciting surprises in store for you…
3. On stage: our customer’s Sweet Jewellery success story with Hyvä Checkout
In a panel together with our payments partner Mollie, their agency Vendic and our own Sanne Bolkenstein, our customer Willemijn Sturrus from Sweet Jewellery will share her story of how she’s been steadily growing with an innovative business model, and how Hyvä Checkout has helped her accelerate her growth!
4. Bringing our partners and clients together
The Netherlands is where Hyvä was founded on November 3rd, 2020, and so we couldn’t be happier to bring our partners and clients together in the capital, Amsterdam, to celebrate our third birthday with us during MM23NL! 5. On stage: our own Vinai Kopp’s update about Mage-OS.
“Closing notes” Business Track 5PM.
At Hyvä, we’re big supporters of Mage-OS - the new Association and upcoming Magento Open Source alternative distribution - so we can’t wait to hear all about the latest updates and how far the project has progressed on their roadmap. Vinai is the technical lead of Mage-OS (besides his role at Hyvä) and Core and Sanne are part of the Mage-OS Netherlands board. Together, they will close off the day.

6. On stage: our customer PostNL
“PostNL’s Magento Reboot With Hyvä” is the story of one of the most well-known brands in the Netherlands, the national postal service PostNL. Hear all about how Hyvä has helped them solve their performance challenges and grow their online business!
7. The venue
MM23NL will take place at LIEF Amsterdam, which is located in the industrial area in the west part of the city. It is an old tram depot and besides events it’s used for festivals. Paying tribute to its past, you can feel the hard labor that was conducted here mixed with the energy and vibes from today’s Amsterdam party scene… This is the perfect background for an amazing event! The food and beverages promise to be good, too…
8. On stage: our customer Atida
Marjolijn van Olst from our customer Atida, one of the biggest providers of healthcare and vitamin products in Europe, is presenting how they migrated from a microservices setup to Magento with Hyvä. A very cool story of how this migration saved them cost while improving their performance!
9. The after party!!!
After the event, be sure to catch the entire Hyvä team on the dance floor. No better way to blow off some steam after a busy event!
As there will be a live band performing followed by a DJ, it will be impossible to sit still! Ready to shake things up with us?
